One good thing about all this shitery is that losing Declan wont be seen as such a big loss innit?

Someone made a good point about Fornals being a better option than Paqueta.

You know you will get 100% from him.

I'm with you on that. Cresswell has been a great servant and as you say comes across as a good lad. Yes his legs have gone and too often now he is off the pace but I think some of the vitriol aimed at him is unfair. It's not as if he isn't putting the effort in, it's just that his effort isn't PL standard anymore. Thank God the internet wasn't around when Parkes and Dev played their last games in that 6-0 defeat at Oldham!

He has clearly lost the players and it is not a recent loss either
His Brighton rant when his bonus went down the pan would not have helped
I suspect that aside of his dour arrogance, the absolute contradictory bollox he has spouted over the last 18 months will not have helped - you can imagine the tone of discussion amongst the players

Downes must be regretting his move to his beloved West Ham from a footballing standpoint.

What’s he got to do to get some minutes? So much for building a team of young motivated players.

Until he is tried with Rice, Paqueta and Fornals in midfield we will not know if Paqueta is a complete waste of money. Of course we also need a striker who’s quick and got quick feet and movement. We also need to bin Coufal who tries hard but does not possess the technique to cross the ball properly.

3 players needed even if we do what’s obvious and sack Moyes

I feel disappointed for Cresswell. He's been a good player for us, seems a really good lad, but he was done a couple of years ago and should have been replaced. This manager has hung him out to dry, and it culminated last season with 2 sending offs in the 2 biggest games of his career.

His lack of pace is really hard to watch. I cringed yesterday when he was rag dolled by that lad, it was a 25 year old playing against a 70 year old.

TM the way I see it Noble was the interface between Moyes and the players that kept things positive with the right level of motivation and understanding.
I don't think Moyes has the personal skills to deal with todays pampered international players. Same issues he has had at other clubs.
If I look at body language Benrahma, Scamacca, Pacqueta are all pissed off, Coufal is clearly disillusioned and openly said the manager didn't talk to him about losing his place in the team and I would imagine players like Fornals and Downes are equally asking questions.
I don't believe the team are with him after this awful run of form and his team selections. Maybe Noble can smooth this over but I'm not sure thats his job.

Fuck fuck and fuck
Really thought we were over relegation battles, sacking managers every couple of years for a replay.
Good old West Ham.

Well doesnt look like Moyes is going anywhere. According to jacob steinberg he still has the support of the board. What a fucking joke this club is.

I couldn' agree more Tagashi Mike. Some of the wisest words I've ever seen on here. I'm done until something changes. The club is rotten to the core I'm afraid.

Football is a game where its ideal to score goals. If you dont do that you need to change.

yes, but you've got the new director of football telling the world after the club spending £180m, that a slump was expected. he's also said the only people unhappy with the current manager are a loud minority that every club has to put up with. I know plenty treat this cunt with kid gloves because he comes from canning town, but so do I and from where I stand he's nothing more than another barrier to the the current owners. a yes man that was prepared to fight a pitch invader than understand why a fan would be pushed in to such an action. he wasn't alone, plenty cunts laid in to the par as he left the pitch. this is the modern west ham fan. noble is nothing more than another device to push a narrative away from what we're actually seeing, to what they think we should be believing

Its fair to say that the addition of Mark Warburton, which I thought was a bit errrrm, at the time, has either made zero difference ( if you look at our decline from Jan- dec) or has exacerbated it

we are significantly worse defensively- errors and gaps all over ( you could argue we dont have the full pack but when have we been full strength)

Our set piece ability has gone from being one of our main assets to an abject black of hole no hope- I counted one header, off target from a corner- which is better than usual

there's no leadership or control or "nous" on or off the field- Brentfords game plan could be seen from Brentford all the way to the toilet bowl of doom- they didnt need to do anuything more than they did, defend capaably( not last ditch) and punish the mistakes we make- its so fucking obvious yet Moyes still thinks things will come good- laughable

Moyes: " Mr Chairman, I feel the club needs to go backwards"
Sullivan: "How can I help?"
Moyes: "£150 million plus change should cover it."
Sullivan. " Cheque will be yours in ten minutes".

In all seriousness i know they may not be Moyes's signings but he is the most experienced manager in the premier league, he has no excuses for how this has all gone.

I cant comment on the game as i didnt see it but one thing i will say is fuck them. This club is part of me but I'm fucked if I'll let their collective uselessness determines how i feel over a weekend. Did all that years ago and finally decided to switch off. When they (the club) show me they actually care about us lot then I'll consider giving a fuck again.

Compare us with West Brom. David Moyes = Steve Bruce

Second bottom, sack Bruce and appoint Carlos Corboran. 9 games later (7 wins) they are 1 point off the play offs woth the same players

So yes, it can be done

My mate "works in football"

Stewards don't count

Emerson is bang fucking average and you can have that for nothing. Obviously Moyes thought he was decent too, and he also works in football. Doesn't make him (or your mate) right

It would be a grave error to give Nolan a leg up, I suspect he's part of the lackadaisical approach that is failing us, and Noble simply doesn't have the experience right now, other than motivational within the dressing room, maybe.

I'd rather we didn't knee jerk to some 'belt & braces' stop-gap like Dyche. It'd make a lot more sense to put Kevin Keen in as caretaker, perhaps with Mark assisting, while we identify and land the right successor.

These players can still come good.

My mate is a Chelsea fan. He works in football.

Says Emerson Palmieri is decent enough. Okay defensively, good at getting forward.

You have to play the players in the right set up though.

New manager can breath new life into this squad and get us climbing up the table.

Taking emotion out of it was good listening to Thomas Frank after

He said we were better up to when they scored

He also said you have to take chances at this level

Most worrying for us he said and rightly that second half was closer to 3-0 than 2-1

Got to ask Moyes way that is
